Chill Out Night
As I said in an earlier post, I love FLOURISH MEETINGS. For those of you that don’t know about Flourish it was founded by Carey Towers to Inspire, Empower and Enrich the lives of Doncaster women. And true to its form the latest meeting on June 27th was inspiring. The theme was “Chill Out Night” and that’s what we did with John Gaughan, who was a member of Herman’s Hermits who were a popular music band in the early 70’s, who sang a few truly heart felt songs for us. In between he told us a little about his down fall in life and how he found his way back. A few people shared their beautiful private poetry, sang a song or played an instrument. All in all, it was another fantastic night at Esquires Coffee Shop on Wheatley Hall Road. Thank You Collin & Carey.
